These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of jivanamfoundation.org (the "Website"), operated by Jivanam Foundation, a non-profit company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U88900UP2023NPL179625, Niti Aayog UID: UP/2023/0343733).
By browsing the Website, donating, applying to volunteer or contacting us through any form on it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. About us
Jivanam Foundation is a registered non-profit working in Noida, Uttar Pradesh across education, nutrition, healthcare, special child care and women empowerment. Our registered office is at G-13, 1st Floor, Sector 6, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India.
All references to "we", "us" and "our" mean Jivanam Foundation. "You" means any visitor, donor, volunteer applicant or other user of the Website.
2. Use of this website
- You may use the Website only for lawful purposes connected with learning about, supporting or working with our programmes.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its admin area, its database or any server it runs on.
- You must not upload anything that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or that contains malicious code.
- You must not scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of the Website for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- We may suspend or withdraw all or part of the Website at any time, including for maintenance, without prior notice.
3. Donations
Donations made through this Website are voluntary contributions towards the general or specified charitable work of Jivanam Foundation.
- Donations may be made by UPI, bank transfer, or any other channel we publish on the Donate page. Where a donation is confirmed by uploading a payment screenshot, the donation is recorded only after our team verifies the underlying transaction.
- You confirm that the funds you donate are from a lawful source and that you are legally competent to make the donation.
- Donations from outside India are accepted only where permitted by the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 and the rules made under it. Please write to us before making a foreign contribution.
- Tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 is available to eligible donors as per the certificate in force at the time of the donation. Receipts are issued to the name, PAN and address supplied by the donor - please make sure these details are accurate.
- Where a donation is made towards a specific case or programme and that need is already met, we may apply the amount to a comparable programme so that it still reaches a beneficiary.

4. Volunteering
Submitting the volunteer form does not by itself create any engagement, employment or contract. Applications are reviewed by our team, and we may accept, decline or place an application on hold at our discretion. Volunteers working with children or other vulnerable beneficiaries may be asked for identity verification and must follow our on-ground safeguarding instructions at all times.
5. Accuracy of content
We work hard to keep case details, programme updates, statistics and documents on the Website current. Even so, the content is provided for general information, may become out of date, and should not be treated as professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Photographs of beneficiaries are published with consent; where consent could not be obtained, identities are changed or obscured.
6. Intellectual property
The Website, its design, text, graphics, logo, photographs and reports are owned by or licensed to Jivanam Foundation and are protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with attribution. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written consent.
7. Third-party links and services
The Website links to third-party sites and uses third-party services such as payment channels, embedded video players, mapping and analytics providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jivanam Foundation, its trustees, directors, employees and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of the Website, any interruption in its availability, or any failure of a third-party payment channel. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Jivanam Foundation against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, so please check back periodically. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
