Ask anyone who has gone to sleep hungry and they will tell you it is not the first night that breaks you — it is knowing there is no plan for tomorrow. Yojan is our answer to that: not a one-day drive, not a festival photo opportunity, but a standing scheme that keeps running whether or not there is an occasion, a donor visit or a camera in the room.
Yojan stands on three legs. Every week our volunteers cook and serve fresh, hot food — dal, chawal, sabzi and roti — at fixed points across Noida, at fixed times, so people know exactly where to come. Every month, families who simply cannot work — the elderly, the ill, widows with small children — receive a full ration kit that carries them thirty days. And on any given day, anyone who reaches our Sector 6 office hungry is fed, with no form to fill and no questions asked.
The rule we hold ourselves to is simple: we serve what we would eat at our own table. Not leftovers, not packets nearing expiry, not a plate handed down from a height. A queue that moves with respect, a seat where we can manage one, a second helping offered before it is asked for — "aur lijiye". The food fills a stomach for a day; being treated like a guest is what people remember for years.
The whole scheme runs on ₹50 a plate — ingredients, gas, packing and the volunteer's auto fare for one person to eat properly once. ₹1,00,000 keeps Yojan running for a full quarter across every serving point we hold. That is what "no hunger any more" means here: not a slogan on a banner, but a schedule that does not stop.
