When we ask women in our community what they need most, the answer is rarely charity. It is almost always the same word: kaam. Work. A way to earn with their own hands, on their own terms, around their family responsibilities.
This 3-month batch trains 30 women in tailoring and garment finishing — skills with immediate, local demand — alongside sessions on pricing, dealing with customers, basic bookkeeping and opening a bank account.
Past participants now stitch school uniforms, take boutique alteration work and run small home setups earning ₹3,000–8,000 a month. The batch fee per woman works out to about ₹2,300 — less than what she will earn in her first month of work.
Our standing hunger scheme for Noida: hot cooked meals every week, monthly ration kits for families who cannot work, and a plate for anyone who walks in hungry. ₹50 puts one full meal in front of one person — no form to fill, no questions asked.
